BOA Sent Me the Trial Loan Modification Papers Today!
This is very good news for Gail indeed. I have to say that all the reblogs, tweets, FB rants and Google+'s played a HUGE ROLE in getting BOA to actually do the right and honest thing. We are living in a time where the voice of the masses has never been weaker and we are also living in a time when it never has been stronger. This time the masses won...And we need to keep on winning. One blog, one tweet, one Google+ at a time.
That half of the story was positive, but Gail still needs our help with prayers and thoughts for her husband who has been putting up a very brave fight against pancreatic cancer. My thoughts are with them while he is in the hospital.
Dear AR Friends,
Imagine my surprise when the doorbell rang and I found a FedEx package from BOA today! Inside were the documents to sign for a three month trial modification. For those of you familiar with loan modifications, the permanent loan modification and terms aren't provided until you successfully make the payments three months in a row on the trial modification.
Thank you all for your help. This would not have happened if the AR community had not stood behind me and reblogged, Tweeted, Liked, and Google Plussed my story. Your social media reach is extraordinary and can move mountains! Thank you for taking the time out of your busy lives to help us.
I also want to thank BOA for responding and moving on this so fast. I am lucky to have so many social media savvy friends and I feel bad for those who don't. I have heard so many sad stories from others who tried to get loan modifications and met with the same frustrations I experienced. I wish there was a way to get help for everyone. My heart goes out to all who shared their stories with me.
My husband's birthday is tomorrow. This was the best gift he could have had. He was so worried that we would lose our home. It put a smile on his face and I could see he felt relieved.
My husband is unfortunately fighting for his life right now in the hospital. They are giving him blood transfusions, antibiotics, and much more, but we need another miracle. It will be three years ago tomorrow that he was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. Any prayers you can send his way would be appreciated. (That's his photo.)
Thank you again for putting a smile on my husband's face today with the loan modification. To me my AR family isn't just a figure of speech. I feel supported and cared for by you just as if you were family members. When I joined AR, I could never have imagined that this community would come together and provide real practical tangible help in my time of need. AR is an amazing and beautiful community. I hope it always stays this pure in heart and intention. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
