Fullerton is a community of tree-line residential streets. Known for excellence in education, the city is the home to four colleges/universities.
With a rich heritage, Fullerton has a long list historical places registered in the National Registry. The famed Union Pacific Depot and the Muckenthaler Cultural Center (the estate was the former home of Walter and Adella Muckenthaler) to name just a few.

The City of Fullerton owns and maintains 45 city parks. Fullerton's Craig Regional park located on the eastern boundary of the city is owned and operated by the County of Orange.
On Wednesday mornings (until 1:30) many locals head to the Certified Farmer's Market, known to be one of the oldest in Orange County. The new location(as of February 2007) will be at Independence Park, 801 W. Valencia Drive. Adjacent to the DMV, this location just east of Euclid Street.
