Maybe Sticking With Your Agent is the Right Thing?

By
Real Estate Agent with Elizabeth Anne Weintraub, Broker DRE #00697006

cancel escrowWhy do some home buyers want to so quickly dump their Sacramento real estate agent? I think it's because they don't understand how real estate works, and they want to blame somebody, anybody, and a real estate agent is the closest thing at hand to point a finger toward.

Real estate is confusing enough, and it becomes even more confusing when a buyer is trying to buy a short sale and the agent doesn't have all of the answers for her or him. Home buyers can feel as though they are stranded on a deserted island without food or water, and there aren't even any amusing monkeys to watch.

Caring expertise...knowledge for you!

So important for all of us, whenever we get the opportunity, to "educate" our clients...rarely do they understand our business processes.

If the house was worth pursuing in the first place, it's worth seeing it thorugh to the bitter end.  I hope this one works out for all involved.

Isn't it frustrating? Or they talk to you, and everything is fine, and thne bump into someone at the bar and switch and then are surprised that agents may not know something...

We are struggling with low inventory which only makes the question you bring up more confusing.

Educate our clients is key - when you do the transaction runs much smoothier.  When you don't - you just never know how it is going to turn out.

We have people around here who will deal with the listing agent and will jump from agent to agent no matter what one says to them.  I can usually spot them and not only do I walk I usually run away.
