March 4th at midnight, ALL ice houses and structures must be off the southern 2/3rd's of Minnesota Lakes. You can still use an ice house or even a portable, but it must not be left on over night.
If your house is froze in, you better make sure that you get every piece for the DNR knows who was where. they have overhead photo's and other tracking stats.
The rest of the state has until March 18th.

Bill, Lot of ice yet in my area as I am near the north Boarder of the southern line. So still plenty of fishing time left...just need to watch and be careful.
I love the fish picture, William. Our ice fishing tournament is tomorrow. Dan and Sierra are going to compete.
People are getting better about this. Yeas ago it was not uncommon for people to abandon them.
