I have only one question about Feng Shui...
"I have been researching Feng Shui, I have read books and watched videos and my friend who is an interior designer is helping me to Feng Shui my space... so I only have one question..."
Usually that one question tends to lead into other questions and realizations about Feng Shui. Absolutely research Feng Shui on your own and ask friends for help but please keep in mind that this ancient practice is never black and white. You have to understand Feng Shui pulls from various spiritual backgrounds and belief systems, which means you need to address changes from a mental, emotional, spiritual and physical perspective. You will see, Feng Shui's foundation is not interior design. It is a humble spiritual practice first and foremost, it's a lifestyle, not a trend or luxury. Also keep in mind, that Feng Shui never offers one answer to a question. There are multiple solutions, it's just how open you are to seeing that pathway.
As you learn more about Feng Shui through your research, there will come a point where books, videos and even your friends cannot answer certain Feng Shui questions. The reason, is because most likely the question(s) you are asking is very specific to your lifestyle. If you wish to stick with the interior design Feng Shui method, that is just fine. Change will happen but, if you are looking for a full life transformation, understand it will take more then just moving around furniture.
Feng Shui is a doorway to become more familiar with who you are, with your surroundings, understanding the connections you have with others and the universe. This is truly a gift to better your entire life and well being, it's just up to you with how dedicated and open to change you wish to be.
It's worth the time and investment to hire a Certified Feng Shui consultant so you are not second guessing yourself. If you are going to Feng Shui your home and life, do it right the first time ;)
