The Arnold Palmer Invitational is an event on the PGA tour golf tournament. It takes place every March at the Bay Hill Club and Lodge, a private golf course owned since 1974 by Arnold Palmer in Bay Hill, Florida, a desired location of Orlando. The event was created in 1979. Prior to that the event was known as the Florida Citrus Open Invitational, which was held at Rio Pinar Country Club east of central Florida. It has changed names many times since then, most of them containing "Bay Hill", but has been held under the Palmer name since 2007.

As a restricted field event by the PGA Tour, only the first 70 players form 2012 money-list are guaranteed spots.

Tiger Woods has taken victories as what was then held as the Bay Hill Invitational 4 consecutive years in a row from 2000 to 2003. This is one of only four situations that a player has won the same event four times in a row on the Tour. In 2004 he was one shot behind the leader after opening the event with a 67, but followed up with back to back 74s on the next two days, and ended the final round  in a tie for 46th place. Woods also was the victor in 2008 and 2009, both times with birdie putts on the last hole. He took the tournament in 2012 by 5 shots, his first official PGA Tour win in nearly 1,000 days and his seventh win at the Arnold Palmer Invitational.

Sounds good.  We are in the middle of the Honda Classic right now here in Palm Beach Gardens.  We also have a Bay Hill development here too.
