I LOVE BLOGGING BUT.....I have to admit that I do love blogging! I was hooked on my first ever blog post which became a Featured Blog (Just another CE Course). From that moment on I've been trying to write weekly. Although I will honestly say that I don't actually post weekly.
However, I am starting to find it to be cumbersome and I hope that you all can help me out with something.
I write my original content on Blogger, or Listings to Leads, sometimes I write directly out of ActiveRain, or Wordpress, oh wait... I actually write blog post off of my website Blog feature too!
Are you guys starting to see why it is cumbersome?
Each platform has its own key feature sets. There is something about all of them that I like. Do I really need to log into each of these accounts to copy and paste the HTML Code and then publish each?
Wouldn't it be simpler just to post in one place and have it syndicate to each of the other platforms? Is this even possible?
Listings to Leads does a fantasic job at allowing you to create your material within its system and gives you the opportunity to post directly into Wordpress, ActiveRain, RealTown, and Blogger with just a few clicks (I counted 4). In fact, I'm using it to write this post.
I'm a pretty tech savvy guy and typically the agent that other agents come to with technology and tools advice. Today, I am reaching out to my ActiveRain and blogging community to find out what tools YOU are using to help in your blogging efforts?

Thank you all for the comments and help in making this a featured blog.
Karen, I do see your point. I never thought to use a "see more" link. That is a brilliant idea and will give my site the traffic it needs.
I don't use my own sites blog feature as much as it typically takes me longer to write within that platform and I can not manipulate text and images as easily as I can with Listingtoleads or ActiveRain.
Darius, I have always written my posts in Microsoft Word and copy and pasted into ActiveRain. I will look into Listing to Leads and thanks for the information. Congrats on the feature!
Hello Darius, congratulations on getting your blog post featured, I still can't figure out why some blogs are featured and others are very professional and educational and never mentioned, I've read some really horrible featured post in my opinion.
I totally agree with you about trying to blog on all our networks and it would be simple to find a way to handle all of them at once sorry I can't help you but when you find a system let us know.
Have a beautiful Saturday evening...
I hate the process of blogging so much, I just do what I need to on Active Rain and that's it. For me it's a chore.
Darius, like Liz and Bill (aka Bliz) above said, I use ScribeFire on FireFox. Works awesome, but I don't post blogs in multiple places.
It looks like you have asked a question that many are wondering about. I will check back to see additional comments.
I'll park as well. I have three outside blogs and sometimes I don't do direct copies, but will change some of the key phrases.
Darius~I only blog on AR, but I do sometimes use ScribeFire to format the text. I know that I need to blog on other sites, as well, so like others, I'll be checking back here to see what our AR cohorts suggest!
Bob Ratliff - As far as featured blogs, I think its a ratio of views vs. click. When it looks like the majority of readers read and then click in to read the rest of the article that post will be featured. I don't know if that really is the case but that is what I gathered.
I'll be looking into the ScribeFire suggestions to see how it compares.
I've gotten to the point where I have a few blogs that I have written just have not posted them. I tend to write when the mood strikes.
Wow, that's a lot of blogging platforms. I'd be interested in hearing if there are advantages to using so many.
Darius, I use free HTML editor - Kompozer - to write my posts and post them with slight modifications on ActiveRain. That works. There are a few HTML editors that you can use to write your blog posts.
Darius - I don't have a great answer other than cut and paste. It sounds like BLiz may have a good idea though.
Very interesting stuf here. I only blog on ActiveRain, maybe once in a while on Trulia. I think that consistency is the key, not blogging on multiple stages. Just my two cents.
I have lost a few Oscar worthy winning feature potential posts because I didn't save while typing or didn't use the right platform...Whatever comes our way, the blog must go on...this I know
Actually, you're better of blogging to one site and investing your content equity there rather than reposting elsewhere. I used to do what you are doing now and found that the content was not getting the Google Juice is should. Stick with AR since it has the domain authority to support good SEO.
Good to know about "Listings to Leads" ... thanks!!! And, CONGRATULATIONS on getting your Blog Post "FEATURED"!
I love L2L also. I find something new everyday. I have not used the blog feature all the much but will start.
