I have heard the same on Brazilian Cherry.  Those are great floors if you really wnat update the value of your home.

We were just looking at some of the flooring you have in your fist shot. But we really did

not like the very large wood grains or wavyness of the flooring. Looking at a simple flat design.

What a great round up of posts on flooring, Debbie! It is extremely helpful to be able to point a seller or buyer to a specific post based on their situation. Hardwood flooring is very popular in Sharon MA, too. Most people will pull up carpeting, as you said, though there are some who still like it in their bedrooms.
