Great info as always Craig...i just love Chrome and it is now my favorite browser.thanks!
Hi Craig, lot olf great information. Thanks for sharing with us in Active Rain Land.
Hi Craig - Thanks for the great tips. I have to admit to a superstition - that Google is aware of everything I'm doing here, and that it is pleased when I pay homage by using as many Google tools as possible, like Chrome and Blogger, etc. As we struggle for Google's favor in SEO, I'll hunt for any tiny advantage I can get :)

Hi Craig-I've been using Chrome for about a year and love it, thanks for the tutorial on how to get more from it.
Best
Google and gmail aren't bad if you don't mind big brother spying on EVERYTHING you do. Hell you cant even us the email service without the entire post/msg being read and then marketed to???
Personally I hate Google but for those who love them, and they are plentiful... enjoy
Craig, I been using Chrome and Gmail. I love the easy integration between my smartphone and computer.
Kathy - thanks for saying - I think it helps get my points across more easily to understand
Ginny - we think alike! :)
Ronald - I'm glad I can share ideas
Dick - just try and go a day without saying or thinking the word google! good luck with that. thanks for the feature in the group
Adrian - glad you are liking chrome - the app shortcut idea works for oither websites too like facebook and hootsuite, etc
Li - glad to see you like the tutorials, thanks
David - I see you've been watching the scroogled microsoft ads :) just like commercials go with our tv watching experience and we find that acceptible - ads go with our online tools experience - I don't mind that price. It gives us a lot of amazing stuff for 'free' :)
Frank - yes the integration to the phone is another good advantage - nice to see you
Craig, this is some great technical information. Thanks for sharing the information.
Craig, thank you so much for this and yet another stellar example of great graphics. I. too, love the red arrows.
Thanks, Craig, for your post. I use Chrome and gmail as well as a lot of other google applications. I have an Android phone and an Android tablet.
I usually have Chrome, Firefox and IE all running at once with multiple tabs open. I don't think I want to run Chrome without the taskbar.
Craig,
I have been using Chrome as my browsers for years along with extensions. the one big issue I see that you do not address is how much memory those apps use. Chrome as I understand it opens an .exe file for every app.
Right now all I have open on my desktop is this page, but I have ten Chrome.exe files in task manager using up a lot memory. I have used older machines where this is a significant issue
Your posts are great Craig. You are in the top 1% for useful info. I alrady use CHrome and Gmail. Love the way it syncs to the Android. A breeze to keep contacts updated on both. One question for you. Anyway I can quick share website wit contacts in Gmail? I copy and paste the link. Gmail does not sem to be an option as a default program on Windows 7.
Kathy - thanks for visiting - glad you liked
Judith - I'm glad to be able to illustrate my points!
John - keep in mind that without the tabs and address bar applies only for the sites that you apply it to - you get a special icon to launch those sites - regular browsing in chrome remains unchanged
Ray - memory management on newer computers is less of an issue but on an older computer you can be more vigilant about uninstalling unused apps and extensions. In chrome Shift+Esc brings up a window that shows you all the chrome elements and how much memory they take. You can watch this to see how much goes to each part and remove anything unnecessary
Dennis - glad you enjoy my blogs, thanks for saying so! You can install the chrome extension send from Gmail (by Google) and this should do the share a link feature that you are looking for
Great information Craig! Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful Saturday!
I like Chrome. It is my default browser. My MLS doesn't work very well with Chrome, though. Printing especially. There are a bunch of real estate sites that don't work very well in Chrome. I hope they catch up some year.
Lovely Craig... this is interesing post.. the screen shots was very easy to understand..
I'm loving the new Chrome apps...looks like my phone screen and lots of good apps to select from.!
Great information. I normally leave my gmail up in one tab and pin it and then go on to other tabs to work.
Hmmm, a good friend of mine told me that I should be using Google Chrome. He is wise in the ways of the world so I should take his advice after reading your immensely detailed and informative post.
Great and useful information. Little by little I expand the usage of Google chrome features as I time passes.
I love, love love chocolate covered strawberries. I got distracted over the close. Now back to read the post.
I am using a Gmail account for many other websites like CRM. While using Gmail you may have some issue with account or error problem then simply contact Gmail Error 007. They will help you out.
I love your screen shots and red arros - so instuctive!
