It's springtime and the annual Tampa Bay Parade of Homes started yesterday, March 2nd, and runs through March 17th. Sponsored by the Tampa Bay Builders Association, it's the 43rd annual event showcasing area builders and their current selection of floor plans which are fully furnished and decorated.
Many of these new homes feature the latest technology and energy efficiency, while showcasing current design trends in home building and accessories. Take some time over the next two weeks to visit some of the models in your area, even if it is only to obtain ideas for remodeling your current home.
If you are in the mood to purchase, remember; the person showing the home is working for the builder and has the builders best interest in mind when negotiating a contract. You are on your own for representation. Always consult with an independent Real Estate Agent who can represent you in the negotiation.
