Sharon, did an outstanding job, we should all give her 200 points with her incredible post.  I'd like to wish my co-nominees luck, I have read and enjoyed your blogs always.  Your entries into the contest were both excellent. 

Now a couple of my thoughts....

"I haven't got a speech or anything but I did prepare a couple of lines......So I feel much more confident now"

"Let's not forget, in a way, all of you are winners today but in a much more literal way, most of you will be losers,"

"I want to thank my parents for somehow raising me to have confidence that is disproportionate with my looks and abilities."

"I used to think that awards were just tokens of momentary popularity. But now I realize they are the only true measure of a person's real worth as a human being. So, thank you."

"I'm nothing if not falsely humble,"

"I also want to share this with anybody who has a dream, because I am living my dream right here in this moment. If you have a dream, dream big; pursue it with a passion. In the words of the great storyteller Joseph Campbell, 'The adventure you're ready for is the one you get.' Life is short -- go for it!"

I'm very excited to be here, on the Red Carpet, where anticipation is already starting to build.

 There's a rumor of an additional award this year that's causing quite a bit of buzz.

It should be an exciting day!  Celebrities are due to start arriving any minute and expected to continue arriving into this evening.  

I'm not surprised to see Roger Mucci is the first to arrive.

What do Roger Mucci, Chris Evans, and Bradley Cooper all have in common?

Well aside from their stunning good looks... they all chose to bring their mom as their date!

Two of last year's winners have just arrived and are making their way down the red carpet.

  Amy Hahn and Debb James will both be presenting at this year's ceremony.amy and debb

I spoke with Debb, wearing a gorgeous Azzendine Alaia design, who said:

"Iʼm really honored to be part of the festivities again this year. Itʼs always great to see 

all my favorite people looking so bright and shiny!"

Good morning, Glenn -- congratulations -- now, break a leg -- not in the wishing you lots of luck kind of way -- I mean the ultimate pratfall as you rush to the stage to mistakenly pick up your Oscar as another name is called -- how embarrassing but you'll handle it with your own sense of panache.   And by panache -- I mean the lovely dress you were spotted in this weekend --- courtesy of the tabloids and TMZ.

Man that Jacobs guy.............whew, hope you're not sitting near him in the audience.  That "rod" could poke an eye out.

Michael, I happen to find this picture from the Summer Local games 1997, that you bragged about winning at the time. You were so proud! This year Ed and I are no Saps, we're looking to branch out, I'm gonna carve those trees into a Trunk to hold My Statue.
