Prince George's County is located adjacent to Washington, DC, considered one of the suburbs of The District of Columbia just a short commute 20-25 minutes from Washington DC, many residents commute to there jobs in the District and Baltimore  Prince George's County offers a scenic and peaceful place to live, work and play. Prince George's County is home to a number of area attractions including FedEx Field, home to th e Washington Redskins, the National Harbor, Six Flags America, the National Wildlife Visitor Center, NASA Goddard Space Flight Center and the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center. In addition, Prince George's County is home to the University of Maryland, Bowie State University, Prince George's Community College, and Washington Bible College. As well these attractions are major employers. With communities already inside the beltway , new homes are being developed in Prince George’s County, situated in the central and southern portions of the county, which offer an enticing blend of rural and suburban living along with The development of The National Harbor Project: Drawing Residents and Visitors to Southern Prince George’s County, Maryland.

Prince George's County features regional parks that provide open space and landscapes for tennis, hiking, picnics, bird watching and other activities. The parks offers a variety of facilities such as athletic complexes, boating/lake operations, nature centers, campgrounds, trails, play areas, picnic areas and tennis.
