Atlanta in the Springtime - Sign #1
Ah, the sweet smell of springtime is finally overtaking the funk of gray winter!
Recently, Rhinebeck, NY agent, Jennifer Fivesdal blogged about the signs of spring in her neck of the woods ...

...which inspired me to look for and post the signs of spring's arrival in mine.
I only had to step outside my front door with my smart phone and snap the redbuds you see here. First harbingers of beloved spring!
Actually, these pretty buds are several weeks past their glory, which happens in Atlanta in mid-February.
Still, they make me smile every time I step outside. Now, my smart phone and I will be looking for opportunities to capture more signs of spring as they appear.
Thanks to my Senseis, Sondra Meyer and Margaret Rome, for reminding me of the power of the built-in camera.
As a recent transplant to Georgia myself, I can't tell you what these pretty babies are called. I just know they grow on trees and I love them.
Does anybody know the actual name of these late-winter bloomers?
