The West Linn Public Library is honestly one of my favorite places to visit and is centrally located at 1595 Burns St. West Linn, OR 97068. The newly remodeled building boasts sleek architectural designs, cool metal artwork, and also hosts a number of ever revolving artists who display their work for weeks at a time. The West Linn Public Library is definitely a rolling stone that gathers no moss.
But let’s talk about what else they have from less of a building design standpoint and consider what they have for inventory. The West Linn Public Library has an enormous selection of books including large print books for people with impaired vision. They have their very own book store and kids play area. They have computers all over the place for personal use. You can check out CD’s, DVD’s, all sorts of computer games and game center games (such as XBOX 360 or the Wii). They have magazines, DVD players, CD players, and a huge supply of different daily newspapers. All of this is free to you and the only requirement is to return it on time to save paying the very small fine.
From a usage perspective, The West Linn Public Library has both large and small meeting rooms that can be reserved, they have various lounge and study areas, computer banks for public use, or if you prefer to use your own device with their free WiFi. From a kid perspective, there are puppet shows, clowns, musical entertainment, book clubs, and computer games set up for their enjoyment.
There is no surprise to the raving reviews this library gets year after year. It is noted as one of the very best that Clackamas County has to offer. If you are in the area, please make a point of checking it out… you will not be disappointed at the West Linn Public Library.
