REALTOR Rally in Montgomery!
Well, today was time for the Annual Realtor Day at the Capital in Montgomery, Alabama.
Borrowing from the theme at the National Rally in D.C., we had our blue "R" shirts on. From the Alabama Association of Realtors Building (background in first photo) we followed a local High School Band in a short parade to the State House where the State Legislature was in Session. The Governor was supposed to speak to us outside of the building, but the rain came and chased us inside. You can see the Alabama State Capital building in the background.
On a personal note, Sue and I got to see my parents while we were in Montgomery for awhile today as well. My father turned 87 a month ago and my mother is only a year behind him. Both were moving kinda slow, but healthy!
