As part of their commitment to the local community, Joe's Pizza & Pasta is partnering with Team "Pop Rocks!" and the Relay for Life of Tamarac – North Lauderdale to raise funds and generate awareness for cancer research.
Located at 1410 Coral Ridge Drive in Coral Springs, Joe's Pizza & Pasta is hosting a "Give Back Night" on Wednesday, April 10 during which 50% of its total event sales from 5 p.m. until closing will be donated to "Pop Rocks!" and the Relay for Life of Tamarac – North Lauderdale.
Throughout the evening, guests are invited to dine at Joe's Pizza and Pasta and support the Tamarac – North Lauderdale Relay for Life, Information about the American Cancer Society and the important work of its foundations and community outreach will also be available.
Guests will also meet Katherine - the dynamic seven-year old team captain of "Pop Rocks" - who named the team after her great uncle, Bob "Pop" Dwyer, who unfortunately did not survive his battle with cancer.

The April team meeting of the Relay for Life of Tamarac – North Lauderdale will also be held. Be among those learning about team fundraising challenges and event logistics. Meetings are open to all team members and those interested in learning more about Relay for Life and the American Cancer Society.
“It's amazing to think that millions of people will be diagnosed with cancer this year. Someone close to you or me may be one of them,” event chairwoman Julie Fishman told Examiner. “Our Relay for Life is not only a way to join in the fight against cancer, but it's also a way to inspire hope by raising funds and awareness to help those facing the disease."
