3. Light is your friend when showing a home. Make sure that you have enough floor and table lamps to properly illuminate the home, and that the bulb wattage is bright and soft. Window shades should remain open, as natural light is a major selling point for most home buyers.
4. Price your house right! You never have a second chance to make a first impression, and your home's entry to the market place should be desirable compared to the other homes in your market that you are competing with.
5. Photos sell! When your property hits the market for the first time, make sure that it is accompanied by flattering photos and a nice description of the properties attributes, as well as proximity to schools, parks, shopping, etc.
