Woodland Owners Conference in Menomonie this SaturdayForest

  This Saturday Woodland Owners from around NW Wisconsin will be gathering to learn a little more about how to manage their forested lands.

  There will be foresters and other Natural Resource Professionals speaking and coaching folks on what is best for their forest and how to accomplish their forestland goals.

  Some of the topics will include;

  •   Forest Diseases and insects
  •   Invasive Species
  •   Small equipment for land maintenance
  •   How climate change is affecting our forests.
  •   Bottomland Hardwood Silviculture
  •   Green Tree retention
  •   Estate and Succession Planning

Forest  There will also be exhibitors there to answer many more questions.

 

  Whether you can make it to the conference or not, feel free to give me a call if you have any questions or if you need assistance in managing your forest.

Thanks Erin, as a tree hugger you may be pleased to learn that over the past 50 years each of the 10 year inventories of our forests have shown an increase in our nations forest acreage, volume, and number of trees.

 

Thanks Tom, as I have mentioned before you are the man to recommend in the Sacramento area for all construction & home repairs, I always learn a little more when I read your blogs.

Hi Bob -- I admit this isn't a topic I'm familiar with -- but the scope and the topics covered at the conference seem to fit the intended audience.  Seems like a very beneficial program.
