WEST SIDE STORY. Can we ever get enough of this five-decades-old, Broadway musical? I know I sure can't.

 

A classic love story coupled with the struggle to survive in a world of hatred and ethnic intolerance, the premise of WEST SIDE STORY endures in movies of today. Think Twilight. Okay, the wolves and the vampires don’t sing or dance, but that storyline seems familiar.

 
Bernstein and Sondheim’s musical score is magical and timeless with classics like “Maria”, “Tonight,” “America,” “I Feel Pretty” and “Somewhere.”

 

So all you Jets and Sharks out there get your SNAP on quick, and reserve your tickets at the Colorado Springs Pikes Peak Center for this Tuesday, March 12 performance of WEST SIDE STORY.

Good morning Kim!  Sometimes it amazes me the things that I have managed to miss in life.  I need to make time to see the Westside Story.   I won't be able to make Tuesday's show, but I hope others can.  The Pikes Peak Center is a nice venue.

I hope you're able to catch it another time, Sondra. My daughter's high school performed it 2 years ago and it was a treat to see it live then! Yes, we're lucky to have the Pikes Peak Center. Enjoy your weekend, too!

Hi Sharon! Its actually a live performance, even better. :) I'll bet you have loads of musical theatre options in Dallas. I remember seeing Phantom of the Opera when I lived there for 5 years and loved it.
