Scottsdale Arts Festival
The 43rd Annual art festival will feature nearly 200 selected artists from across U.S. and Canada who work in painting, sculpture, glass, ceramics, jewelry and photography.
Artists will be selling their work as well as through the festivals online art auction. Enjoy music from 20 AZ bands and grab a bite to eat from one of the gourmet food trucks that will be onsite.
Details: 10am-6pm, Scottsdale Civic Center Park at Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts, 7380 E Second St., Scottsdale. $8, $5 students with valid ID; free for children 12 and under.
Valley of the Sun Chili Cook-Off, Carnival
The three day community festival kicks of today featuring a chili cookoff. Guests can purchase chili samples for $5. There are also carnival rides and games, live music and food vendors.
Details: 5-9pm Friday, 10am-9pm Saturday, 10am-6pm Sunday. Ahwatukee Park, 4700 E Warner Rd., Phoenix. Free admission.

Spring Swing Beer Bash
The 2nd annual beer fest will return this year to a new location in Mesa. More than 25 breweries will be there and each beer lover will receive 20 pours. Buy a souvenir glass for $7 more. Bands will perform and food will be available for purchase.
Details: 1-6pm. Saturday at Arizona Event Center, 1300 S Country Club Dr, Mesa. $24-$30.
Chandler Ostrich Festival
The 25th Annual Ostrich Festival is back with ostrich races, pig races, doggies of the Wild West, the Rhinestone Roper, stand up Comedy by Raymond Marcus, carnival rises, live music and more.
Details: Noon-Midnight Saturday and 10am-11pm Sunday. Chandler Tumbleweed Park, 745 E Germann Rd. $10, $7 for Seniors and ages 5-12, Free for age 4 and under. Additional fees for rides and parking.

Arizona Aloha Festival
Festivities include a marketplace, an island-food court and themed-activity centers. Performances include storytellers, Tahitian drummers, ukulele players and hula dancers. Food such as island bbq chicken with sides of rice and macaroni salad will be available for purchase. Vendors will be selling woven baskets, carved-bone necklaces and Hawaiian coffee.

Tres Rios Nature & Earth Festival
Breathe in some fresh air and become one with nature at this annual event that focuses on the wildlife, habitat and history of the Gila, Salt and Agua Fria rivers. Families can participate in hikes, canoe excursions, fishing clinics wagon rides and more.
Details: 9am-4pm, Base Meridian Wildlife Area, Estrella Mountain Regional Park, 7602 S Avondale Blvd. Free admission; $3 parking fee.
