Shopping in Valley Center, CA

Valley Center is a relatively small unincorporated town in the North County region of San Diego.  For years, residents of Valley Center have had a limited selection of places for grocery shopping and as well as finding other services.  In fact, for many of the simple things residents wanted to purchase they would need to travel down the hill into place like Escondido or even Temecula.  This can be quite an inconvenient thing to have to do, and can cause many prospective buyers of real estate to look elsewhere for their home purchases. 

Growth

In recent years however, Valley Center has begun to see some significant development and growth.  Why?  CASINOS!  Valley Center, and it's neighbor regions of Pauma Valley, Rincoln, San Pasqual reservation, and Pala, is now the home to several casinos.  That means more traffic into the area... and with more traffic comes an increased need to have modern day conveniences such as grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants, etc. 

The new construction happening now off of Lilac Rd in Valley Center is a great example of some of the growth taking place.  There is a new commecial development under construction set to open in the next few months.  This new commercial development will have spaces for several new stores as well as a grocery store, a much needed convenience for the area.  Now prospective buyers in the area can have it all!  The beautiful rural land, horse properties, trails, privacy, seclusion, while at the same time being able to conveniently go to local stores to purchase many of their goods rather than having to travel to places such as Escondido.
