Foreclosures

By

There has been a lot said in the past weeks and months about the state of the housing market here in Minneapolis and throughout the United States. In some states the problem is greater than it is in others. Here in the Minneapolis area we can say there is a market correction taking place. In fact statistically some places in the Minneapolis area have actually shown a slight appreciation over the last year.

That being said, as I have been thinking about foreclosures over the past year I've read a lot of articles and even been in a situation where I watched a nice, hardworking homeowner go through the foreclosure process. In the last few days I have run across an Inman News video of John Vogel, Adjunct Professor of Business at Tuck School of Business, Dartmouth College. He has some interesting ideas on the foreclosure situation that I thought might be interesting to those of you who haven't heard him. If you will click this link, hopefully you will be taken to his comments.  http://www.wellcomemat.com/video/FE98914748  The only question I have is how long will it take for something sensible, (not a government bailout), to happen?
