HOW TO COPE
■ Take a short nap in the afternoon for about 20 minutes if you can.
■ Exercise during the day with moderate walks or working out at a gym.
■ Commit to at least 7 to 8 hours of sleep at night.
■ Avoid caffeine or alcohol before bed.
■ Avoid eating at least two to three hours before going to bed.
■ Relax before going to bed with a hot bath or shower, read a book or listen to soothing music.
■ Make sure your bedroom is cool and free of noisy distractions such as televisions, radios or other noise.
■ Make sure your mattress and pillows are comfortable and offer support. If they’re not comfortable, it may be time to purchase new ones.
