What Does BATVAI Mean?
While you're looking at properties online or on a listing sheet, there's a section that explains some of the better characteristics of the property, in limited detail.
There are only so many characters allowed in our MLS for the descriptions, so you'll see a lot of abbreviations. Like, "mbr" for master bedroom or "fr" for family room. Sometimes at the end of the description, you'll run across something that, initially, makes no sense.
BATVAI.
This is an acronym that a lot of listing agents use, including me, to make sure that the buyers and buyers agents do their due diligence.
It stands for Buyers Agent To Verify All Information.
Don't automatically take the listing information as gospel. Double check everything!
