The temperature isn't the only thing rising in Phoenix.
Today we had a high temperature of 80 degrees and on Friday of this week our high is suppose to be 93 degrees. Our weather is one of the main reason why so many call Phoenix home. But the weather is not the only thing rising here in the Valley of the Sun.
Home prices are also on the rise. Now sellers that were not able to sell two or three years ago are finding that they can afford to sell now. Let's look at the prices in central Phoenix for example:
As you can see the median prices has increase over 50 % from February of 2012. That great news if you 're looking to sell. That's a huge jump in median price for a 1 year period.
What this means for home sellers is if you were on the fence about selling now is the time to do it. Nobody knows how long prices will continue to climb. So don't wait, find out how much your central Phoenix home is currently worth.
So what part of the valley are we talking about:
We're talking about an area East of I 17 South of Shea, and North of McDowell and West of 40 Street. It's not a big area, but the area is compact and full of great older homes and some renovated condos and townhouses. If you've been looking in this popular area just realize homes go quickly and you need to be prepared to act. This location is close to downtown Phoenix and Sky Harbor Airport so it is ideal for anyone looking to be close to shopping, dinning, sports, and all the action and new developments in downtown Phoenix.
As downtown Phoenix development continues to grow the prices and demand for this area will continue to grow.
