February Market Report
Activity in February this year slowed by 18%.
BUT . . . the average sales price was four percent higher than last year's February. This year homes closed 40 days more quickly.
Sellers accepted nine percent less than their original listing price.
Homes continue to sell more quickly and at higher prices. Inventory has dropped. There are 220 homes on the market in North Tacoma and University Place, with an average listing price of $368,000 and a median of $225,000.
This market is favoring sellers, but well-qualified buyers can still get mortgages at very low rates.
