Valparaiso University Men's Basketball Team had the honor of hosting the semi-final championship games at their home court over this past weekend.

So last night, VALPO played in the final round AND WON, clinching the
Being VALPO season ticket holders, we have come to know many of the players and parents and families, coaches, VU staff, alumni and fans over the years and this team with 6 seniors got it done!
Selection Sunday will determine where our home town team will dance:)

This year, tourney time was different for us though.
We received a phone call asking us to be community hosts for WSU.
We were honored to do this and to meet Billy Donlon (Coach of the Year 2013 Horizon League) and other coaches, team members during team practice/designated shoot around times at the ARC at VU.
We also met many of the Horizon League Officials and learned that there is much more behind the scenes that goes into setting up, running, and monitoring a tournament event!
All involved: University Staff, League Staff, Players, Coaches, Students etc.. we applaud!! They should be proud of their work & efforts!
We are happy for our home town team and look forward to enjoying many more VU basketball games to come!
