What DSLR camera should I buy in 2013?

I need to buy one of these camera's and I am wondering if anyone has advise on camera's that are easy to use and produce great results for the best price?

I've been absent from AR for awhile, sorry!  I just kinda got burned out on the whole putting myself out there and retreated to my quilt room.  But I was just listening to Sam Miller on a CRS Sell A Bration Audio tape I downloaded and I wondered what the heck I'm doing just sitting back, I need to get my fanny in gear!

I have a nice point and shoot camera, but no wide angel lens.  It's just a fact of life that I need a better camera.  I looked around on the product review site for camera's but didn't find any.  Maybe there's a way to get some feedback in that category, I'll have to research how to make that happen.

Wanda -- I recently purchased a Sony Cybershot DSC-HX200V camera. It is not a true DLSR camera but as a land man, it has features that I really like. It has GPS and a compas built in and enters that information into the EXIF data. The camera has 18x optical zoom and is 18 mp. It is priced around $430.

Thanks John, I do have a Canon Powershot S3 IS, which is my point and shoot, although I can make all kinds of adjustments.  I am just really thinking I need to go to a DSLR with a wide angel to get better inside pics.
