Craig, this is an excellent instructional blog. I'm going to subscribe to your blog.
Thanks you Craig. That is extremely helpful. You even mentioned a few Social media I have not checked out yet. I will do so today!
Hi Craig,
Nice to see you. This is a great helpful reminder on how to do this. I have missed taking the time to spend time on Craigs Classroom. Just so busy this time of year. I need to get back in there and play around.
I should really go back and redo these...I appreciate your post and helpfulnesss and will bookmark it!
I could have used this excellent post several months ago when I set up my own links and signature! Now, to maintain all of those social media sites!
Awesome and helpful information as always Craig. I've been thinking about changing my social media icons - and I need to add Pinterest to the mix. So, thanks for the push, D
Great info yet again Craig. I really enjoy your posts, as they are so well done and helpful.
Craig: Fantastic information here ... not only the suggestion to take this action, but a link in which to find the icons you need. You can't get better than that ...
Featured in BananaTude!

Congratulations!
Gene
Craig, I love your step-by-step - makes it so easy to follow (and yes, implement, too!)
Hi Craig - This is an excellent post - thanks for the walk-thru and links for the icons. I can't believe I still haven't gotten around to doing this.
Nice post Craig. Half the battle to get people to visit your social media sites is letting them know where to easily find you. After looking at my Google Analytics the other day, it looks like I should add a Pinterest icon too since we've gotten a decent amount of traffic from there dispite not advertising it and not posting anything in the past couple months.
Craig
What a great and timely post....at least for me. I've been wondering about how to do this.
I can't thank you enough for this information. Now all I have to do is study this more, and attempt to put it to work.
Thank you so much for this valuable information.
This is really great information. Some of the social media icon sets will not include all of the icons that people want. The one you reference is very complete!
Thanks for this. I admit because I never click on anyone else's social media links, I tend to ignore them a bit myself. But now you've motivated me to pay a bit more attention to my signature with these.
Thank you, thank you, thank you! This was a problem for me and I appreciate your step by step instructions. Great post.
Craig, You found a better set of icons than I could! I used to use those with attribution (didn't like the clutter), so finally changed it, but had to bring in another to cover Pinterest because the set I liked didn't have Pinterest for some reason. Thanks for the tips! Bill
Craig, this is like manna from heaven. I was just searching the internet yesterday for free icons. I didn't realize there were so many choices. You've made it very easy here. Thanks. I hope to work on my new signature this weekend.
Craig this information is priceless. This is something I want to do as soon as I get a few hours.
Your posts are always so unbelievabley helpful (especially to those of us in the computer-inept categories)... bookmarked for later!
Craig, this is such a helpful post and explained to well that even a 'cave man' could do it :) Bookmarked!
Sharon

Thank you so much Craig for including this in the Ask an Ambassador group too. I was thinking about this very subject just the other day. I know a ton of members will be revamping their signatures because of this post.
BLiz - I am surprised how few of the icon sets have all the ones I wanted - I was glad to find one to be able to share
Tammie - I like the other call to action buttons in your signature - I'll be glad to see the social additions coming soon :)
Judi - one of the other things I found in my search was people sharing but at 32 pixels and that is a little too small for me. I really like the 48 pixel size so when I exported from contentfrog source that is one size I made
Joan - that will be great, thanks
Alan - I'm very glad to see you and hear that you enjoyed
Sharon - thanks for the confirmation that I make it as easy as possible :)

In regards to social media, where is the beef?
That will date me but the people who seem to be championing social media are either under 20 or less something, or make a living from social media.
There is a difference between making a living off of social media and making a living from social media.
Bryan
I always tell people don't broadcast a social media if you are not active on it. Find the ones you like and use them. Very detailed post and so important! Categorize this one into the newbies list of best things to do when you start AR! :) Love it!
Love it...this is one of the to do lists items I need to do! Now I have no excuse!!
Thank you Craig! Talk about perfect timing - I was just editing my settings and wondering how to insert SM icons. I literally only clicked twice to find your post. Woohoo!
Craig,
Keep up the great work. I always learn something new from your blogs Thanks!
I added my icons the other day. Glad I saw your post on how to do it because I was wondering how it was done. I watched your How to Embed a Map video but that didn't work out so well. The map showed up on my preview but not my post. I deleted the html for now. I am going to rewatch the video and try again before I ask for help!
Thanks Craig. I have been searching for a post that would assist me with adding the social networking sites to my blog etc. I finally came across your post which was huge relief. Your instructions were very easy to follow. Thanks again!
Craig,
Very informative! I've got a few people that I can pass this along to and it helps with some of my customers who send out e-mailings (they think they don't have time, and are afraid to blog).
Craig, had to come back and reread this. Thanks so much for the valuable help!
The media streams you weed and feed, hanging out along your blog posts to be seen but not distract or annoy. Just the right size, of the corner of the blog post readers eye. Armed, loaded, safety pins pulled and ready to rock and roll. Shock and awe. If the trigger finger of the surfer says I want more...let's connect and keep the engagement going. I always think of it like an attack helicopter loaded with ordinance, firepower, the tools to get the job done. Marketing is like that. Penetrate the market, eat up the pie share size you want with the right use of technology, the fire power.

Craig, this article was incredibly helpful. Thanks so much for posting it!
Hi Craig, I'm trying to implement your technique and am getting hung up on inserting my social media hyperlinks... Since activerain switched over to the new formatting, I haven't been able to insert a hyperlink into any images... Thoughts?
thank you so much for having this blog! I just updated my signature and it looks fantatic! My old links did not work for some reason so I am glad I found you!!!
Here is my blog trying to figure out my icons: http://activerain.com/blogsview/4410995/do-my-social-media-icons-in-my-signature-work-
thanks so much!!
Dear Craig -
JUST ADDED LINKS!!!!
Thanks for making it so easy!
Your devoted student,
Lynn
Thank you Craig Daniels for this post! I am a newbie and need all the help I can get. Any tips on how to created my signature? thank you!
Craig, I am so glad you are still an active AR member! I found your post after a couple of hours searching for this topic. I want to add the buttons to my blog but am having difficulty. Will go to bed and tackle this again tomorrow. Has anything changed to make this technique not work properly? Thanks again.
Pat Starnes - I just looked over the post again now and it seems like everything in the procedure is still current. Feel free to email me in the form at the top right of the page if you need any assistance.
Craig - when I do it, this is what I get - the text shows up instead of the button.

Glad I found this through Debbie Reynolds re-blog, thanks Debbie!
I just had a client tell me to do this to my e-mail signature so it was easier to go to my social media. We need an AR button! Thanks for all the instruction!
Craig Daniels Great blog post rich in content and call to action alway rate high. Adding these icons are addition adrenaline. Thanks!
Craig! Long time no see, mostly because I'm not stopping by. :)
Anyway, I posted today, and noticed that the icons on my blog signature are no longer displaying. I wanted to correct that, but I can't find the blog settings anywhere now!
Do you have an update as to where I can find those settings?
Thanks!
Jeremy Wrenn - nice to see you
Go to "My Home" and then on the left nav open "My Blog" then you will see "Blog Settings"
Thank you...I often wondered about this and now all that remains is to visit with it....Best
