Everyone loves a parade and this Saturday’s St Patrick's Day Parade in downtown Colorado Springs, CO is sure to please young and old alike. A community tradition since 1985, this year’s parade features marching bands, floats, and leprechauns as they march past 35,000 spectators in charming downtown Colorado Springs.
Its a day of celebration and celtic fun. Enjoy lunch or an early dinner while you're downtown at one of Colorado Springs' fine establishments. Up and down Tejon Street you'll find a wide variety of Irish pubs, fine steak houses, Italian, Mexican and Japanese dining, great tapas, French crepes, wood-fired pizza joints and New York-style deli's. Its a regular foodie paradise! Good thing its all walking distance. :)
