Last Week's Favorite Newbie First Post
AR IS AS MUCH ABOUT MOVING FORWARD AS IT IS ABOUT REACHING BACK. So as you think back, try to remember how you wished that someone had reached out to you or at least spotted your post and made a comment on that post (and kept coming back to see what you were up to). Well I think these AR Newbies probably feel the same way. They were all great post, but unfortunately I couldn't spotlight them all.
In the interest of time, you may not be able to stop by them all, but if you could just click by as few or as many as your time will allow.
The Week of March 10, 2013
Learning to blog? Me Too! Here's what's been helpful so far.... by Tom Jansonn
Who better to encourage another Newbie than a Newbie. Tom has figured out what works for him and in true Active Rain form, he is sharing it with others. I suggested it on Sunday the 10th, so by the time I post this, hopefully he will have made front page news.
Hosting a Home Buyer Seminar....Question? by Cassandra Stewart
Casssandra is calling out for your advice. She and I have talked this weekend and she wants the AR family to weigh in and help her generate some ideas on holding a first time homebuyer seminar. Please share your experience, tips and best practices with her.
The Realtor who wears Combat Boots by Justin Wisen
Talk about a tagline. I love it. Yeah I guessed that he was a military man before I even read the post, but my guess is that was his intent. I know that there are a few Rainers that I am aware of there work the military market and now Justin is joining the ranks. Serving his fellow military men and women is in essence a continuance of his serving our country.
Employment on Active Rain Blog by Stepanie Calhoun
Stephanie's post is only one paragraph with a few sentences, but I think she may be on to something here.
Where do we come from? by Susan Kirk
I really like this post because right out of the gate, Susan lets us know who she is, what she does and how she to there. I think we're going to like Susan from the start because she just opens herself up that way.
Are proof of funds to much to ask for? by Maggie Bier-BodgeMaggie did a good job of writing this post about a subject that is all too familiar to us all. We harp and bark to often about the strength of the buyer that show that they have the funds to buy upon making the offer. Frankly my motto is that buyers shouldn't view homes without having secured funds or at least have arrange to provide proof of funds. Good job Maggie.
