Happy St. Peacock Day! A few months ago, I turned off the noise at home and tuned in to silence for awhile. I began to hear a sweeter melody playing in the background, as greener thoughts emerged in the playground of my mind.
I found myself reading, wondering and swimming in a sea of creativity. I began to dance in the rain again, munching on asparagus and tweeting tips between friends. I've even pinned a few cartwheels over my neighbor's fence.
Did you know that the letters in SILENT are the same letters in LISTEN?! I've become silent, so I may listen to the sound of music resonating in my soul. It's leading me to happier thoughts and greener pastures, and for that I am grateful.
Say hello to the handsome Peacock I met along the trail... what a great way to recycle those bottles that some will inevitably be sipping from today!
