The Luxembourg American Cultural Society will be welcoming classical pianist Jean Muller to Port Washington High School, 427 W. Jackson Street, Port Washington, on Monday, April 15 as part of his Midwest Tour.He will also be performing in St. Cloud, Minnesota; LaCrosse, Wisconsin; Dubuque, Iowa; and Aurora and Chicago, Illinois.
Jean was born in 1979 and began studying piano at the age of six. He has studied in Brussels, Paris, and Munich, and his father, Gary Muller, who is a piano professor at the Conservatoire de Luxembourg, has been his mentor. Mr. Muller is the recipient of 12 first place awards at international competitions and has performed during state visits of Luxembourg's Grand Duke Henri. He has performed at over 300 concerts in Europe, Asia and the US.
