Which Way is the Real Estate Wind Blowing?

The Real Estate Wind Is it still a Buyers market? When is it going to be a Sellers market again? Are home prices going up or down? I am asked these questions and similar ones everyday! My response to this question is with another question: Are YOU a real estate "flipper"? 9 times of 10 the answer is NO! And when the answer is NO, then for the buyer and the seller looking to sell and buy I respond with: "IT DOES NOT MATTER ." I know that may seem harsh but it's true. Buying and selling a home is emotional. Very emotional. So let's stand back for a moment and Trust the Real Estate Gods. Trust the fact that regardless of when you buy a home that 10 years from that date the value of that home will more than likely DOUBLE! This is according to the National Association of Realtors. I'm going to leave you with a few quotes to that hold true in both my current and and previous career (12 years as a financial planner and 7 years as a Realtor). 1. The market goes up, the market goes down But the market goes up more than it goes down! 2. It's time "in" the market not timing the market. 3.
