This neighborhood is certainly appealing to the eye with the contemporary architecture and well developed landscaping in nearly every yard. The location is also very desirable as this neighborhood is truly close to everything one could need.

Flatiron Estates is a quiet neighborhood located in the middle of Westminster Colorado. From the neighborhood’s homes to its location, this is truly a wonderful place to live.
Homes in Flatiron Estates are 2 story and contemporary in style; they range from 2-3 car garages, 3-4 bedrooms and 2-3 bathrooms. Most of these homes are just shy of 3,000 total square feet and are priced in the mid 300’s. Flatiron Estates homes are also characterized by spacious and beautifully landscaped front and back yards.
The neighborhood of Flatiron Estates is located just east of Wadsworth Boulevard, and just north of 92nd avenue. The entrance to the neighborhood is marked by a private park, for residents only, with an updated playground, picnic pavilion, full size basketball court, and large field surrounding it. The sidewalks of the park lead to a private walking trail that winds around the south side of the neighborhood, providing a beautiful view of the mountains and of the well kept back yards of Flatiron estates. The other three corners of the neighborhood have a large grassy, open space areas for residents to play and picnic.
The real estate market in Flatiron Estates is very stagnant. The most recently sold homes in the area were in 2010. The slow market can be attributed to two things: the first, the neighborhood is significantly smaller in size than other comparable neighborhoods. so there just is not the same room for turnover. Secondly, home owners in Flatiron Estates are simply happy living in the neighborhood; if this were not the case, the market would reflect such with many homes constantly on the market, and a high turn around in home ownership.
Flatiron Estates is a part of the Jefferson County School District. Specific public schools for the area include Semper Elementary, which is less than a fourth of a mile down the street from Flatiron Heights, Mandalay Middle School and Stanley Lake High School.
