The City of Peoria and the Peoria School District are holding an Arts and Cultural Festival on Saturday, April 6, 2013 from 8:00 am to 5:oo pm.  This event is free for family and friends and will take place in Osuna Park at 83rd Avenue and Grand Avenue.

Enjoy the history while celebrating what the future holds for Peoria at this event featuring artwork from students in the area.  There will be dance performances, theatre acts, a choir and band, and a culinary cook-off.  If you would like to join the fun of a 5K run, a family bike ride or kid’s zone there is a small fee.  Take a walk through the local art gallery or take the ArtWalking Tour while you are there.

Peoria is a beautiful, growing community.  There are many points of interest that would draw families to the area.  Whether it be boating, skiing or camping and taking in the views on Lake Pleasant, attending dinner and a show at the Arizona Broadway Theatre or watching a Spring Training game at the Peoria Sports Complex there is something here for everyone.  Take a look around in old town Peoria, which is being remodeled and renovated.  Enjoy some good food with established restaurants in the area.  One new favorite is Ayala’s Arizona Kitchen for some wonderful south of the boarder cuisine.

Settling the family down in the city of Peoria would be easy with the choices of new homes being built and the resale homes on the market.  There are homes of all sizes with all the amenities you would ever want in this great city.  Visit http://homesforsaleinsurpriseaz.org/ for more information about homes in the area.
