Today, someone did something extremely nice for me for which I am very grateful. Early this morning, on my way to a seminar, I rolled out the driveway and down the street only to notice that the annoying symbol for 'You Have a Flat Tire' was glaring in orange at me. Needless to say, this was not part of my plans for the day. I was reminded of the lizard in the Geico commercial wailing about having a flat tire. That is exactly what I felt like doing. There was really no one I could call to come to my rescue who wouldn't be terribly inconvenienced coming all the way out to where I live, and I wasn't exactly in my "tire-changing clothes". The theme from Ghostbusters, "Who You Gonna Call?" popped into my head. Not helpful, of course, but amusing. Still trying to remain calm and find a bright side to my circumstance (not), I started scrolling through my cell phone contact list. Nobody, nobody, nobody, and then Bingo- "Hey Culligan Man!" The Culligan office wasn't that far away, probably someone might be in early. I figured maybe they could just recommend someone in our area who still gave roadside service. Not my Culligan Man- he didn't give me somebody's number, he offered to come himself to change my tire. What a nice guy. He accepted nothing but a very humble thank you. If it hadn't been for the kindness of my "Hey Culligan Man", I would still be waiting for a tow truck to arrive from the next county. Thank you Ron Miller, I am forever grateful.

Donna- I gave up AAA when I moved to the Beach, thinking I would only need them in the snow. How wrong! BTW, this was my 2nd flat tire in two months. :(
