Go Daddy, Tell Me What You Think!

 

I have had a hosting account for a few years with Go Daddy and I have 62 active URL’s with them at this time (I know I have an addiction).  I have had issues over the years but nothing that would make me seek out a new hosting provider...until NOW!

My site has been down more than it has been up over the last three days! I have made multiple calls to Go Daddy, even had one guy insinuate that even though I had the best hosting plan it was going to be slow because of my content! He said, and I quote “it’s like loading down a donkey and expecting him to walk as quickly”.  WHAT?!?! So I said to him “you are saying that the service you provide and that I pay for is inadequate?” That was a conversation going nowhere fast!



fast forward to today and I need to get into my FTP files to download my content...WRONG that is having issues also! So can't add anything through the WP side, can't get in the back door either... I am stuck till Go Daddy decides to get it fixed.....

 

I convert a lot of internet leads provided by my web site, how much do you think Go Daddy has cost me with three days of no access?? What do you think? What do you think Danica Patrick would have to say about that??

Danica would say keep watching the Commercials. Sorry to hear about the issues. Hope it gets fixed for you.

Hi Melissa. Sounds like Go Daddy has costs you some leads and some money. It might be a good idea to seek out another host for your sites and URLs. I happened to have 5 URLs with them at the moment. Hope you get this resolved soon.

Melissa  I had my host CRASH for about 4 days...no emails...nothing.  I really liked their service and I know after they got it fixed they were ahead of the curve.  When they returned I did not loose anything as far as content goes.  But, I have found a better host and will switch soon.  We are building the site now and it might be up tomorrow!  Good luck and my monies on you!

I don't think I know the Danica quote you're fishing for but how 'bout, "Go Speed Racer"?

I'm not a big fan of GoDaddy.  They make it seem like they're the hottest biscuit in the oven, and then under-deliver.  

We are ALL on the edge of our seats waiting for John's big unveiling!

I've known others to have problems with them for this exact reason. I dumped BlueHost over the same problem a few years ago.
