Utilizing Marketing Strategies For the Market Shift
The spring push is here in Central Connecticut and there is activity in the market place for home buyers and sellers. After such a long grueling span with a down market created by a multitude of issues, the Connecticut real estate market seems to have gotten a nudge which is a good thing as interest rates are starting to creep upwards.
Marketing for this push should be similar to that used the past couple of years to make clients aware of our services. I use focused mailings to keep myself in front of possible selling clients, as well as an expired campaign.
Blogging is an important tool in my marketing arsenal, and has delivered with consistent results.
Each new listing gets posted to my web site simultaneously as it's posted to my MLS and is then syndicated so as to give my sellers as much exposure as possible. Marketing of my listings also brings me buyer clients, not all of whom may want the particular listing that generated the inquiry but affords me an opportunity to capture them for other possibilities.

Referrals are always there from my sphere, and I keep in touch with lawyers I have done business with in the past to let them know I can help them with problem sales.
The shift is starting to present itself here in Central Connecticut, and the work I've done the past 2 years to stay in business will reward me as the market gets more active.
