This was a project I did for a friend of mine who usually buys properties and then rents them out. He decided he wanted to sell this particular one. It had been on the market for almost a year. Now, it's biggest issues were that it was refurbished with renters in mind, not buyers, so it didn't have any bells or whistles. It was also in a very rural area where buyers had to pass several new home subdivisions in his price range along the way.
We finally talked and I convinced him that staging could REALLY help this house. We worked out a deal to stage the first floor.
SOLD in 37 days. Now, normally 37 days wouldn't wow me, but after sitting on the market for a year plus not as high end as others, I was to say the least ESTATIC.
My next purchase is a better camera and learning how to take better pictures.
