So do you have plans this weekend? If not how about an open house. Open house can be great if your in the market for a new home or you're just curious about what's on the market.
Now here are a few things to consider before you go into an open house:
1. The agent in the open house represents the seller and not you
2. Majority of buyers never buy the actual open house
3. The agent in open house wants to add you to their database and start marketing to you.
Now if you're already working with a real estate agent let them know that you're going to look at open houses. And when you start talking to the agent in the open house let them know that you are already working with an agent. That way the open house agent knows that you're already represented and will usually allow you to look at the open house without to much hassle.
