With the current market shift agents and other related professions have noticed that they are getting to bed latter again... and that is a good thing. We are all seeing a positive change and it is very exciting. I thought I share the trend I am seeing with this market shift and what I have been doing to address this.
Low, low inventory of particular home types. One level, easy mobilty and maintenance home. There is a trend here in the Avon Lake surrounding areas of people asking for these homes Sure there is an abundance of one level homes but little to none on the market.
Who are these people looking for these homes? Two groups 1. First time home buyers moving from a rental or the like and are ready to jump start homeownership in a low mortage rate opportunity. and 2. Individuals with mobility issues. Health reasons that may or may not include age. People who are not ready for 50+ settings.
What I have been doing. Putting the word out that the need is in demand and you may be sitting on a goldmine opportunity. I have done this through mailings, socials/networking, and electronic media. People have responded to some level and have seen the results, listings lasting as little as 24 hours and long as 18 days... yes 18 days. And I think there is more I can do, I can do door to door or direct calls and that is coming.
