Herdust pane is the second in our series  of Spring Cleaning Tips.

Since it is Spring Cleaning time, we will be bringing you tips on Mondays to help get your house in shape! These tips will also help if you are selling or considering selling your home.  It will help to show better.

1.       Switch Plates.

This is a  much forgotten area.  You sort of go snow blind when it is your own house, but other people notice.  Make sure you clean the switch plates and the areas around them from all hand and fingerprints.  If they are way beyond help, consider replacing them.  You can buy a bundle of them at the local home improvement stores and they come in white or off white.  Or you can consider a totally new look.  You will be surprised at what a difference clean or new switch plates can make.

2.       Door Handles

The door handles, door jams and the surrounding areas get so grungy.  Make sure to clean the entire area and considering polishing the door handles.  It will make you home shine.

3.       Corners of the floors.

Make sure to sweep or vacuum the corners of all your rooms, especially your entry area.  The dust and particles just seem to all end up in the corners.

Next week we will work on the kitchen!

Funny, how we forget to clean the switch plates.  Just don't do it with a spray bottle!  Thanks for the post!
