Real Estate Agents are Always on Alert!!!

I read a blog post form an agent about the many roles of a car in the career of an agent. The blog reminded me of a funny story about an agent. My friend Val was pumping gas on a hot, August day in NJ...you know, 95 degrees and 95 % humidity. Naturally, the ignition and A/C were turned off. His clients were in the back seat and they were literally melting while he was chatting with me. Five minutes...ten minutes....

His clients opened the door and began yelling at him and I could not top laughing,,,,melted clients!!!  The husband looked like a wedding cake figurine after it has been placed into the mocrowave on high for 30 seconds.

Val was so flustered that he neglected to detach the gas line from his car and he drove off.....the pump line snapped and I fell to the ground laughing. The sound and the visual were truly scenic!! Val laughed a lot too....that is until he realized that it is $900 to replace the gas station pump line!!!!!!!

Paddy, I thank goodness, this has not happened to me. We do get distracted more than we would like to, so I imagine this kind of thing could happen a lot.

That's hilarious, Paddy! It's so much easier laughing on the other side of the story, isn't it? As long as you're not the one making the clients melt!

Oh Paddy, how sad for Val, and I just wonder if he ever sold that couple a home? WOW! $900.00 to replace a gas hose, happy to hear it didn't cause a fire...YIKES.

I was a bit shocked that a gas pump hose was $900...but when this happened, I told Val that it was going to cost $900 because I had another friend that did the same thing LOL
