Real Estate is BACK and BACK in a BIG WAY!
Real Estate is BACK and BACK in a BIG WAY! That's right, you heard it, real estate is back baby! How many times have you turned on the tube to watch the local and national news only to hear C.N.N. or (Constant Negative News)? Well I have to say it is a little refreshing that the National and Local News Networks are finally reporting some positive news now in regards to the real estate market. But they are only about 6-9 months behind.
The national and local real estate market started rebounding from its low a few years ago durring the so called real estate bubble or crash about a year ago. Prices have slowly been creeping back up, but have recently become more prevalent in early 2013. It is an extremely hot market here in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex and more especially in the Northeast Tarrant County Real Estate market.
Out of over 330,000 possible real estate professionals that make up ActiveRain, the world's largest social network for real estate professionals, only a handful or less than a few thousand were picked to take part in a recent nationwide survey. John Hrisco & Associates who is an active member of the Activerain real estate network was asked to take part in the survey and here are the results.
Data provided by ActiveRain, the #1 social community for real estate professionals.
You can see from the InfoGraphic above that among the major real estate markets polled, that Texas and more especially the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex ranked in the Top 10 Real Estate Markets Nationwide. Texas had four cities in the top ten: 10. San Antonio; 7. Dallas/Fort Worth; 6. Houston; 1. Austin.
A lot of the hot growth in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex has been right here in the Northeast Tarrant County Real Estate Market where the Alliance corridor lies. With Alliance Airport, a central hub for international and national cargo, the brand new Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Alliance that opened up recently, and the Alliance Town Center that is in constant, and expanding growth, businesses and more importanly new homeowners are looking to relocate to this Northeast Tarrant County / Alliance region.
With the election now behind us and interest rates still at an all time low, there has truly never been a better time to buy in the past 50-60 years than right now. The problem most home buyers are facing right now is a shortage of inventory, meaning there are not enough good homes to cover the demand. Builders are coming back, but can hardly build them fast enough to keep up with the demand, the problem builders are running into right now is a shortage of construction workers that left the industry a few years ago when the bubble burst, are slowly coming back and getting back into the industry.
What does this mean for Home Sellers? They are enjoying in most cases multiple offers for the property at or above list price in most cases depending on the property and location, etc...and usually going under contract with the first week on the market. So now is a great time also to think about selling your home if you were planning on making a move. You just want to have an action plan in place and know where you are going to go.
