Mirror Mirror On The Wall. Who's The Fairest Of Them All?

Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Realty 0575737

Mirror MirrorIn the nursery tale Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, the Queen looks into the magic mirror that can talk back and poses the question,

Mirror Mirror On The Wall. Who's The Fairest Of Them All?

She doesn't like the answer of this up and coming fair Snow White character and plots to destroy her with poisonous apples and such, hangs out with the seven short guys and has a Prince Charming kiss to save the day to have a happy ending.

But the Mirror Mirror question is something we all should ask ourselves. Who are we? Not to feel bad comparing ourself to another, but to better understand ourselves, our core values. Values drive everything you do, and if you don't know what you stand for or do not stand for you will be adrift in life. Meditate on yourself and write things down even who exactly you are. Knowing yourself breeds confidence and I find too many with confidence have no values and some with strong values doubt themselves entirely too much.

The fairest of them all of should always be "YOU" of course, comfortable in your own skin, and not worrying about others. Be the YOUEST You in the world!!

Awesome positive post. This would be a much happier world if we all come to the realization that we are all special.

Darn it Gary, I was going to read that book! No point now. ;)

It's a good thing when you can wake up each morning and smile at the person looking back at you in the mirror!

I like it, but I worry that many don't understand the term "fair" and to whom their fidisuary belongs.

I have no problem being the me-ist me I can be. But there are days I don't want to look at my reflection in the mirror. Like bad hair days.

Great advice Gary, but I wonder how many people out there really know who they are or if they are someone that people expect them to be.

Hi Gary, I think it is very difficult to get at the essence of our values, given the myriad of influences all around us.  It takes time to develop into the person you are and being comfortable in your own skin-lots of experience and maturity and most people unfortunately tend to fall short.  As Kermit says, it isn't easy being green!

Gary, The mirror was where I found my strength as I changed my life as a young man, my church if you will. I learned how to get rid of remorse by not making bad decisions. The mirror dosen't lie. If you don't like what you see, then change it.
