Top ten grooming tips to sell your home
Two Things You Must Do to Beat Your Competition in the Housing Market
The best ways to sell well are to:
1- Attract more buyers to come to your home to see it, and
2- Let your home sell itself so well that the buyers will worry someone else may buy it first.
And how do you do that? Simple. If everything else is similar (price, size, location,...) then the home that looks better will sell better. And out here in ranching territory, we are very familiar with how to groom our horses, cattle, llamas, poultry, et al, so they will "show" well. We "groom" them. Nothing dishonest there...just a matter of letting our critters speak for themselves.
So, the best way for your home to out-compete similar other nearby homes for sale is to...yes..."groom" it for sale.
Where Does One Buy a Grooming Brush to Prepare a Home to Compete with Others?
You don't. You go find one of the most knowledgeable experts on how to make a home "show-ready", then take their advice.
That's what I did. I checked with the Real Estate Staging Association, and found one of their recent winners of the 2013 award for National Top 10 Stagers of the Year. I contacted Ms. Weatherly and asked if she might consider consulting with me on the very best top-ten most effective "grooming tips" for my clients' homes in Rapid City SD for sale. And she accepted!
Sally Weatherly's Top Ten Tips to Sell Your Home in Rapid City Black Hills SD
So Sally and I put our heads together, (with me doing a lot of listening). Then "we" came up with a Top Ten tip sheet. Well, actually, Sally did. I just asked her to tune the international stagers' lingo a bit more toward how we refer to things out West. Here is Sally's fine work. Hope you can use it. And if you need any advice, give Sally a call in Vancouver, or call me right here in the Rapid City area.
