WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN SELLERS LEAVE FURNITURE IN THE FRONT YARD

I Had a settlement today ( Thank God!), and the sellers left furniture in the front yard. the buyers were upset, and the sellers had not made arrangements to have the furniture picked up by anyone. We call AmVets and they agreed to pick up the items left. Thank you ! It saved the day for the buyers, sellers and agents.

I've never had that happen but I would put a call into the Listing agent. If the listing agent doesn't take care of it then I would call Salvation Army or another Charity that would pick it up. Which sounds like that's what you did. Congratulations on your closing!

Most contracts do not allow for the seller to leave JUNK behind. I would have the seller pay the buyer a fee, just in case the salvation army will not take it.
