I meant to post this last week but, I forgot.  Tomorrow morning April 9th, the Connecticut Mortgage Bankers Association (CMBA) will be hosting a Seminar On Understanding Appraisals And The Process, at the Holiday Inn in North Haven, Connecticut.  This is a Seminar that I am making a point to attend, especially with Mary Kay Scully as the presenter.  Mary Kay is excellent, and present things in a way that is easy to understand, capture your attention

This Seminar will be well worth the time and money to attend.  If you want to attend, contact the CMBA at (860) 348-1238, info@cmba.org,  to make sure that there is still room, or take a chance an show up at the:

Learning the appraisal process is very important to beocming a good Realtor. You have to know how to price a property correctly if you want to have good things happen to you.

George -- I hope you are able to attend and inform us of how the appraisers are treating a market in transition.  We are seeing multiple offers and prices going up a little bit, but appraisers are hesitant to add any factor for appreciation. I'd like to know what it will take before they start to factor in some increase in prices.

Jimmy, I am hoping to get information on anything new that is happening on the appraisal end of the business, and to hopefully get a better understanding of th process.

Pat & Steve I do plan on sharing the information that I get at the Seminar, so there should be one or two blogs out of it.

Joan that is a good question, I will see if I can get an answer to that and blog about it.
