Marion Jobless Rate Drops to 8.4%, Lowest in Nearly 5 Years!

 

 

The unemployment rate was a 0.7 percentage point decline from January and well below February 2012's rate of 10.8 percent, according to data released by the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity on Friday."

Meanwhile, home sales have also improved dramatically. Months of supply of homes, has dropped from ~9 month at the beginning of the year to ~7 months as of the end of March.

Do they keep stats on the companies doing the hiring? Or is this just the same as what is happening natioally....people give up looking and are no longer counted or older workers just go on disabilty.
